The unique exprience of educational and cultural mix!The group of different age students were invited to Czech Republic to join the English course and to emjoy cultural and historical places in Prague.Besides they were working within the language project where they were taught how to work with texts, how to make good essay-descriptions and many other useful academical skills.
Each day one of the students wrote a day - reflexion o the day, including not only the events and activities but also his/her feeling and emotions aout them. It was really an experience for students as well as for the teacher. They were constantly comparing the styles of teaching of native speakers and their ESL teachers at school, the manner of communication of their group leaders and other members of the programm, the level of bringing up.
Every day the students had a chance analysing everything at the evening meeting. They were given some pieces of advice about their daily reflextions and explanations.
So, you've got a chance to see thei results. Don't be so strict, it was just the first time for some of them to write English reflexions. By the way, here are the originals of he students' writings with no teacher's correction:
"First day in Czech was really hard. Firstly we rode on the transfer in Yekaterinburg. We rode 3 hours. After that we passed passport control at the airport "Koltsovo", checked in luggage and passed several more security points. Later we waited for the start of landing on the plane 2 hours. The flight was very hard. We flew 5 hours and 20 minutes. We were fed pancakes with chicken, cupcake and bread. It was really bad. During the pasad, almost everyone had their ears covered. After that we drove to the hotel. Later, we were given folders with travel cards, a map of Prague, and a brochure with useful information. After that we went explore the neighborhood. It was really interesting. After that we settled on our numbers and sorted out the suitcase. Later we had 4 hours of free time. After that we went on the boat and swam along the river. Later we had hard way to the hotel with metro and bus. After that we had a dinner and went sleep".

"In the fourth day of our trip we got up early in the morning,had breakfast and went to school by bus. My group was talking about ecology,politics and playing role play.For me it was much easier,than in two first days.Polina G.,Gled,Egors and Geogriy were playing games and quizes.Sofia S,Polina and Ilya were creating brends and taking about them.After school we ate tasty sushi and than went walking in the Prague streets.We saw old The old city and had little shoppings in different fair sites.Than we went to shops.We visited some the shop with sweets and toys,sweet shop and popular with clothes.On our last “station “ some of us bought some shoes and clothes in shops like Levi’s , New Yorker, Foot locker and same. I really liked this day, because in the morning I riched my knowledge and bought a lot of beautiful, helpful and tasty things. Bad news is - I ate too much. But all food here is tasty, that’s why all of us wanted to try everything".

"Today was a busy day. Where we were about the history of Prague. We also visited many old buildings of Prague. My feelings on this day are great. This day was awesome. We learned what we do not say in school."

"Today we had a decisive day, it was exciting. Today we talked at the lessons about food, about friends and what happened during these days, everyone today thought about what result and in the end I was pleased with my result. After we went out and talked about what we did, in class, I bought a bun and two donuts were very tasty. We had lunch at the subway, took a roll and went to the subway. I also bought myself a metro game I wanted. I liked the mall there it is very beautiful. We went to the zoo and I watched the sloths and pelicans. We were tired and went to the hotel, but a little confused around the city. We went to the sports ground. Rested at the hotel and ate chicken and potatoes was very tasty. And at the end of the day we discussed our date."

"Today, after breakfast ,we went to school. The weather was cloudy as always. At school, everything was as usual, repeating grammar and discussing various topics from everyday life. After that we were in the water park, riding a roller coaster. Returned back on the bus, got on the tram, and back to the bus. The day was very tired, but it was very interesting!!!"

"Today, we woke up as usual, only not much later. As always, we had breakfast and when we waited for the bus, we went to Germany there was beautiful, a bit like the Czech Republic. There were beautiful and tall buildings. a lot of information when we arrived at the hotel all had dinner and went to our rooms"

"Hello to all! Today we were in an amazing place - in Karlovy Vary! It turns out that there is a mega super hotel - the cinema and music is flourishing there! There were such celebrities as: Jackie Chan, Bach Sibostyan, and many others. Accommodation in such a hotel is 10,000 euros per night! There, it turns out, was not so treated in this wonderful place before, and they were put in baths with boiling water, and waited until the skin began to burst. They believed that this would help, as they had gathered from the street."

"Today we went to the mall. The first thing we went to a children's store. the store had a very cool elevator. We were there for 3 hours. Then we went to the city center there we stayed for 2 hours. then we arrived at the hotel."
